How to set up proxy in Windows 8, 10

If this is the first time you’ve bought a proxy, you’ll immediately have a question about how to use it. We’ve already written about how to work with proxies in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla and Opera. Today we will talk about how to set up a proxy server for the entire Windows operating system.

Proxy setup in Windows 8 and 10

In order to configure the connection in Windows 8 and 10 through a proxy server, you need to press the key combination <Windows Key + C>, then – <Settings> and select <Change PC settings>.

In the window that opens, select <Network> on the left side of the screen.

Then, in the same part of the screen, select <Proxy> from the menu.

After that we find <Manual proxy setup> and enable it by dragging the slider to the right.

Next, enter your IP proxy and port and click <Save>. This was the last step. Now you can login to your browser and enjoy anonymous surfing on the network.
